So, what happened across the Disney parks today worth mentioning? Let’s get to it.

The Disneyland Instagram account posted a new video earlier today featuring a hooded Star Wars character in Batuu alongside R2-D2, presumably Luke Skywalker. We’re hoping that Disney is going to start embracing the original Star Wars characters with this being a sign of just that. The Disneyland account commented on the post saying, “Incoming transmission with more details 2.10.25.” So, what exactly does this mean? We’re guessing they will be announcing a meet and greet with Luke and R2-D2, but we will have to wait until February 10th to find out!

The manatee tanks in the Seas pavilion in Epcot are no longer vacant, with four temporary occupants now moved in with two of the manatees being visible to guests. The two visible manatees are named Cideo and Milo, while there are new more male manatees in the back of the tank that are not visible to guests. It’s speculated that Epcot has taken in the manatees for short term rehabilitation. Along with the animals, there is a small exhibit on the second floor with information on manatees. Milo and Cider were orphaned in 2022 and 2023 respectively, and can be released back in the wild once they are healthy enough to do so.

Disneyland Paris invited 300 hospitalized children and their families to enjoy, “two days of magic on the 4th and 5th February. From attractions, shows, parades and even a private concert, the programme allowed everyone to enjoy time together while taking a break from the hospital routine.” You can check out highlight photos from the event on the official Disneyland Paris Instagram page here.
Disneyland announced that they want to give back to the first responders that have fought against the LA fires by introducing a ‘Heroes Ticket’. The ticket includes two free One Day Park Hopper Passes for California firefighters, as well as eligible LA-based law enforcement personnel.” According to Disneyland social media accounts, more information will be shared directly with eligible departments in April. Disney Food Blog shared a video of the newly refurbished Boardwalk Inn lobby with a ton of brand new furniture. You can expect to find a ton of comfortable seating with some classy looking wing-back chairs with pillows, couches, and tables both marble and wooden. There is additional open back shared seating that looks perfect for families and the lobby’s main piece is a circular cushioned couch with a miniature replica carousel in the center. Check out their Instagram (below) for the full video.
Disney Parks are vast and changing in many ways every single day so we are going to do our best to keep up with as much of it as we can for you. These recaps may not be every single day but we will be putting them together as frequently as possible. If there is anything that we missed (which I’m sure there is plenty!) make sure to give us a heads up on our social media so we can potentially add it to a future rundown. I also threw this one together pretty quickly, so it can really only go up from here.
